NBC and CBS evening news cheerily blabbered that bad ole La Nina just ended, so the “bad weather” is all over, so take your meds and watch our bright shiny objects bullshitoramas and forget that Republicans deny global warming and vote for them, because everything is going to be just fine now that bad ole La Nina has finally croaked…
Yes, they had the shameless audacity to lamely blame the epic, historic, never seen before, record setting, increasingly worst ever severe catastrophic weather — and record breaking heat in winter, with 15,000 records broken in just the eastern U.S. in March alone — that transpired over the course of the last year on La Nina.
A La Nina that has from the outset been noted as a weak La Nina.
A La Nina that was so weak that it was thought to be over last fall, and for at least two months — likely more — last year the cooler waters that define a La Nina phenomena were not in the range of temperatures of a La Nina (climatologists called La Nina over back then).
Rather, the increasingly highly aberrant weather all around the planet conformed to the long standing parameters defined by climate scientists as the prescribed effects of global warming. Not La Nina, certainly not a weak La Nina, and not a La Nina that wasn’t even a La Nina off and on during its slow waning death…
Yet these disgusting shills of corporate-owned mainstream media mindlessly blame the increasingly severe weather on La Nina and utter not a word about global warming, nor that in reality climate scientists are attributing it to global warming.
I guess they think that anyone stupid enough or drugged up enough to still watch the mainstream media evening news doesn’t have a clue as to what’s really going on…
But actually, that is much worse than disgusting. Devious, deceptive misinformation of that kind — which endangers the planet and everyone inhabiting it — is criminal.
Consider that thousands of people die every year because of severe catastrophic weather, which is caused by global warming.
Aren’t people that are aiding and abetting global warming — and therefore severe catastrophic weather — knowingly aiding and abetting the death and therefore the murder of those thousands of people?
But, the dirty energy industry pays off politicians, and mindless charlatan corporations now own the gutless media shills, so the elitist powers that be just sit in their ivory towers and rake in the money from dirty energy so that they will be better able to survive what they damn well know is going to a hellish planet for humans to attempt to survive upon.
And given the Republican doctrine of social Darwinism that calls for the death of the unfit masses, can’t you just envision sinister assholes like Boehner, Ryan, Santorum, McConell, Bachman, Coulter, Bekkk, Palin, et al, and all of their racist, classist tea party ilk, sitting around in their air conditioned armored fortresses — paid for by their bribes from dirty energy — like Romans in the Coliseum giving thumbs down and cheering the death of the unfit masses…
Come on people, if you are not of the so-called 1%, you must stop being apathetic and do something to begin changing the deplorable situation. At least help get the word out to those that are misinformed, under-informed, and just plain brainwashed.
